Biography

Dennis is a Senior Research Fellow in Health Economics at Centre for Health Policy, University of Melbourne. Previously he was a Lecturer for over 5 years at the University of Dundee, Scotland and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU), University of Aberdeen. His research is focused around developing and using quantitative and econometric methods to analyse large and complex health and social datasets to inform medical decision making and health policy. He has been a Chief Investigator on grants in Australia, UK and Sweden and has published extensively on the measurement and evaluation of health inequalities, the economics of illicit drugs and alcohol, the economics of adherence, the economics of diabetes and has been involved in a number of economic evaluations of healthcare interventions.
