How to Apply
Graduate Research Degrees - International Applicant
Applications for the Masters by Research and PhD programs can be submitted at any time.
- Use the Graduate Research Degrees section of the site to select your degree.
- Submit a Pre-Application Form. Prospective Students must submit a Pre-Application Form for Future Research Students to the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. This form will be used to establish your eligibility for entry into a Graduate Research program offered by the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and whether the School can provide supervision in the proposed field of research. If the School is able to offer research facilities and appropriate supervision, applicants will be advised to submit a formal application. Please note that this is not a formal application.
- Submit a Formal Application. If the School is able to offer appropriate supervision you will be required to submit a Formal Application to the University, however this does not guarantee you will be made an offer of a place. All applicants must meet the University's Entry standards and English Language requirements to be eligible for an offer of a place.
The university is moving to a paper-based graduate research degree application process in July 2011. Applicants who are unable to submit a complete application with all supporting documents using eApplication before 30 June should wait and submit their applications after the new process opens in July. More information on the new process will be available soon at http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/admissions/applications/research.
