What were you doing before you became a student at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health?
I did a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in Nepal. Following that, I was working in a local NGO in Nepal as Project Documentation Officer.
What made you apply for your course?
It was a combination of three factors; my interest in public health, the reputation of the University of Melbourne and the different choice of subjects in the course.
When I complete the Master of Public Health, I feel doors will be open to work in development work related to public health all over the world.
What makes the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health a great place to study?
The lecturers are great, as is the subject choice via the system of cross institutional study. I also find the computer lab access really beneficial to my studies.
Any advice for new students?
Utilise the facilities and enjoy your studies :)
